Otter Suite Dining Room

The Otter Suite, occupying almost the entire lower floor of the house, is particularly spacious and luxurious, with about 600 square feet of interior space and having a 430 square foot deck overlooking the water. It is 52 steps down the external staircase from the parking area.

On November 22, 2007 we took delivery of a hot tub for the Otter Suite and put it into operation a few days later. Because of our unique location, the most economical way to bring it in was by helicopter. To see the video for this operation, click here for the Helicopter video.

The whole length of the north wall is glass, with large windows and sets of French doors leading onto the deck, from each of the two main rooms.

The suite comprises a large bed-sitting room and a separate room that is divided into areas for the kitchenette, the dining area and the office alcove. The lower suite kitchenette features a dishwasher.

An outdoor hot tub is only a few steps away on the deck in the waterfront yard. It is available for use all year round.

A large bathroom leads off of this room, which features an extra deep soaker bathtub, large shower stall and a separate toilet room. In the bed-sitting room, there is a hanging clothes closet with a full-length mirror on the door.

Because of the proximity to the water and the large windows, one almost has the illusion of being on a boat.
